CHRIS ALDI

MIX ENGINEER

Playing and studying music since the age of three, Chris Aldi has always expressed himself through his songwriting, production, and performance. Being taught piano by his mother at such a young age, Chris learned how to read and critically listen to music by the time he was in elementary school. Chris moved from piano to guitar around the age of 12 and began dabbling in recording around the age of 16. It was then when he knew that music was the path for him.

Now studying Commercial Music Production at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, Chris has made himself known in the Cincinnati local music scene. Recently, he began taking on various roles with different bands, such as being the bass player for synth-rock band Fruit of the Island and being the front man for 90's influenced indie-rock band Goof Juice. His biggest influences as a songwriter and guitarist include Snail Mail, Pearl Jam, Car Seat Headrest, Guns N’ Roses, Jimi Hendrix, and others. In the studio, Chris has taken on various roles through recording, editing, mixing, and producing music for himself and for his friends, as well as by arranging musical pieces for amusement park King’s Island. Chris will graduate in December of 2022, where he plans to stay in Cincinnati and continue helping build up the local music scene around him.
